Why is facebook so addicting ?

I'm trying to stay off facebook for good but it's so addicting. I deactivated my account so many times and reactivate it.I don't know if it's my friends that keep on there,the groups i recently joined or both. I had my account since 2009. (got it at age 12, don't ask) but anyway I just really want to stay off facebook. help..and don't say i need to stay off my computer.
i joined these two groups not to long ago and it's going to be kind of hard to tell them i'm deleting my account.

Lol Facebook used to be addicting for me too. I used to spend like most of the day on there. Then I made a Twitter & I spended less time on Facebook..& then I made a instagram. I HARDLY get on Facebook anymore. But anyway , if you want to stay off Facebook, I say find other websites to get on. ( Like Twitter ) & you won't be so addicted to Facebook. Or talk to your friends on the phone, listen to music, play video game's. IDK. this might be some horrible advice but oh well.
