Yes,,,But you can change this via your privacy setting in google. Where you can hide this option to show or visible to people.

So if you want to change this option go to Privacy Setting

Facebook doesn't send a notification about you to everyone. But based on your location, likes, places of study or work, it will show you in suggestions to the relevant people.
If you want to get yourself in suggestions, complete your profile and add some people you know.
