is this a manageable problem,then how come fb doesn't fix it?

This is happening to me too! I'm glad I'm not alone. I have no idea how to fix it, but I'm assuming it's one of many glitches that Facebook is experiencing. I hope it gets resolved soon though, it's rather annoying.
