Facebook status' and privacy settings?
Someone has changed their privacy settings so I cannot see their status. I know this because I checked on two different accounts and on mine I cannot see their last few updates. However, I always thought when someone edited their privacy settings that a little star symbol appeared next to their status? (which says 'custom' when you scroll over it). This persons status did not have that symbol, even though I cannot see her status, anyone know why? It's just the usual "friends" symbol...
(Might sound like a silly question but I need to know the answer as it makes no sense, I am 99.9% sure it isn't a facebook error...) Even when you add someone to the restricted list and you post something, the 'gear' symbol appears thought, I just tried it. Ads |

they didnt customize their post settings, they added you to their restricted list so you wont be able to see their activity
and it's not a "star" - it's a "gear" icon Ads |

They have put you in their restricted friends list, this means you can't view any new posts or activity on their timeline. Ask them why they have done so if it is bothering you.

She has her privacy settings changed and has hidden them from certain people. eg "hide from John Doe".
