Deleting someone on Facebook, profile not visible anymore?

I deleted someone on Facebook earlier, but I never blocked them. I looked in my messages to see a past conversation and their profile picture has disappeared and I can no longer click on their profile, and they are no longer visible on the mutual friends we share. Does this mean they have deactivated their account or something else?
They don't come up in the search box either, by the way.

They could of. Or just search them in the search box. Or just restart your pc or whatever to see if they reappear? Hope this helped.

They either blocked you or deactivated there fb

Either they deactivated Facebook or they found out you deleted them so they blocked you to 1up you or something.

If their name doesn't show in the search box then they have deleted their account, if it was deactivated you would see a gray image on their profile pic.
