I mean... they did away with the Equal Time requirement ages ago.

Twitter maybe? That's how we learned a lot of what was going on in Iran a year or two ago.

I'm not sure I can cope with the Fail Whale telling me that the last best hope of the proletariat had his brains bashed in with an ice pick somewhere outside Mexico City.

Fine by me.

The revolution is only the fodder for consumer and corporate interests in the televising.
Good revolutions make for good audiences to peddle your wares.

All public communication would be shut down were a revolution to take place. You might get SOME information in a different country.
