It just means that they want to grap your little attention ,wants to know more about you.. And wants to say "hey" to you! That's it!

They want some attention from you! Maybe they have updated their status and want likes, have uploaded a photo of you (or video) or sent a message you haven't read or replied to yet. Whatever it is, all they want is a bit of attention from you, so why not give it to them! Making people happy is a great thing!
