will deactivaton of twitter account will deactivate my tweets as well?

I made an account on twitter i did like 4 tweets now i want to delete my account.When i will delete my account from twitter will it delete my tweets as well help me quick..................
Also i also deactivated my facebook account will it delete my facebook message as well that i left there....
please help me on this

To deactivate your account and tweets

1. Sign in to twitter.com on the web.
2. Go to your Account settings and click on Deactivate my account at the bottom of the page.
3. Read the account deactivation information. Click Okay, fine, deactivate account.
4. Enter your password when prompted and verify that you want to deactivate your account.
