People will accept you don't worry. Most people actually might send you request. You might have 70 friends
The first day you open your Facebook. Nothing to worry about.

Talk to your parents, and if they don't listen then tell them you deserve to find guardians who will. My point being, have a strong family unit - your asking a bunch of people on the internet and most of us are crazy. Do your parents know you want a facebook? Do they know your worried about not making friends? Are you comfortable sharing how you feel with them? What's this matter? Well that's how you make friends, REAL friends who actually care about you. Family is practicing friendship. I have a facebook but dont go on it all the time, it's a means of communication for me, helps with my type of work (im into music). Im 24 and most of my friends on facebook have 1,000+ plus "friends", but they are stupid for thinking that many people actually like them and they are in need of a reality check. They just want to feel popular, but the truth is most of those people don't have one single true friend.
My point is facebook in and of itself doesn't matter. You do. I'm not saying hate the world or anything but really dont concern yourself over what people think, cool kids, loser kids, whatever. You're about to go into Highschool? Oh my God I hope to never have that happen to me again, not in this lifetime or the next. What would have made my highschool experience better? By being closer with my family and siblings - i left them behind when i should have held them close. Why did I do it? Cause i wanted to have fun like in the movies and on TV, i wanted to be around cute girls and have them like me, I wanted to fit in with the cool guys. And its all bullcrap. Its all bullcrap. I was too young, too naive, and not wise enough to see how shallow the people were that I thought mattered. I became too cool to talk to my parents, too cool to talk to my little brother. And i regret it all, all the girls I thought I liked have kids now and are broke and unhappy and not even dating the father of the child. All my guys I used to hang with all end up in jail, or depressed, or never leave their parents home whom they argue with all the time. Fear nothing kid, be yourself, and dont squander the life that is irreplaceably yours by chasing a life that isn't. Take your time growing up, god i cant express that enough, take your time growing up. Talk to your parents, even when they are mad at you. I wish I did. Theirs nothing cooler than a kid comfortable in his own skin, in his own home, getting along with his family and co workers (when you find a job) and not caring if others are calling him a loser. Things like women, drinking, fun, come on their own when you dont chase it. Why did I bring all this up? Cause Facebook allows people to be even less personal with each other than they already are when they sitting right next to each other or live next to each other.

I think you should ask your parents, and if they say Yes then I think you should knock yourself out !
