Can I use a URL shortener as the destination link in my facebook ad?

Will it work? For some reason, when I use a tagged URL, it's not registering in Google Analytics, even though clicks are reported through facebook and even though tagged URLs are working for other campaigns in analytics.

most people here dont have any experience with this sort of thing, so you probably will not be able to get a good answer

but since URL shorteners are often used to get around rules and limits, it's unlikely they will function as you want them to

there is really no need to use them anyways unless you are indeed trying to do something that is against the rules
