Why won't facebook let me post?

About two days ago I turned on my laptop running windows, opened up Chrome and went on facebook. I tried to make a new status update and it wouldn't post. I couldn't see comments on anything, either. My feed also wouldn't continue to scroll. It would just go up to a certain point and have a "view more stories" button which didn't work. I can't comment, like, or share anything.

Now, my access using my android smartphone is completely fine using the facebook app (I don't use the mobile site). Any ideas on what could be going on?
What I've done so far: cleared browsing data (cookies, etc), it does work in opera, but I really hate the way that web browser is set up (granted, it's better than internet explorer but that's not saying much) so I want to keep it in chrome.

Try to clear your browsing data by pressing Ctr + Alt + Del simultaneously or if that still happen you should re-install the Google Chrome. Good luck.

have you tried using a different browser instead of chrome just to see if the problem is the same in all browsers?

well now that you know it is only a problem with chrome, i recommend checking your browser extensions to see if you have any installed that are causing the issue

you can easily just disable them all without uninstalling them, then restart chrome and see if it works again... if it works after you do that, then you will know the problem is with one of your extensions

Try Different Browsers And See if the Problem occurs in More than One Browser

Check your Add ons/Extensions See if you have any Suspicious Add ons Or Extensions if So Remove them
