I can't log into twitter?

Basically, when I changed my "@name" (username) I has a yellow box at the top of my homepage saying "do you want to verify your email?". I've been ignoring the yellow box ever since for no reason and when I tried logging in one time, twitter had to check if "I was human". Yeah, it was kinda stupid. Then it said to reset my password, which was supposedly send to my email. I checked my email inbox and it wasn't there. Please help me because this is really annoying me.
