I see ppl on fb writing statuses with coloured Hearts, like blue green red, how do they do that?!!

You have to be on a mobile device, and it's most likely an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. In the settings you can choose which keyboards to add. And if you add the keyboard called Emoji, it had all kinds of different smileys and hearts and other things.
