Is this wierd to post on facebook?
Adults and doctors always say "eating healthy and exercising makes you healthy, not whether you are thin or not". But for us teenagers growing up in a world surrounded by models and celebrities that are size zero how are we supposed to believe that? When our role models are photo shopped models in magazines, and people are always talking about needing to get "bikini ready" how are we supposed to feel good about ourselves and believe we are beautiful when were not size zero and we don't have perfect skin and hair? Anorexics and bulimics are ridiculed for being the way they are, but how can we expect them to be different if needing to be thin is everwhere in our society?

Seems a bit preachy and sounds like you're trying to blame society for psychological issues related to weight, but its definitely not weird. In fact id say its very relevant, and could spark a very interesting discussion among yiur faceboom friends.

It sounds like a typical cheesy teenager post. At least you're not sucked into believing society's idea of 'beauty'.

Having read it, it seems fine.

I think you worry too much about public reaction.

Thing about facebook is that only those close to us actually read our news feed let alone visiting our pages,, usually they would more likely being supportive. Plus you carry a good message in there. If by a glance people see that a certain post is pretty lengthy, they naturally expect it carries something of significance.. So yeah, post it Smile
