Installing Facebook page tabs?
I'm trying to help our local dog shelter start a Facebook page so that they can create more awareness and gain more donations and volunteers. I want to add different tabs to include pics and details of re-homed dogs, puppies for adoption, volunteering, donations etc. But I can't figure out how to do that. Can you please help? Also are there any Facebook apps useful for non-profit organizations?
If I'm not making myself clear please check out the tabs of this page which I'm taking as an example. https://www.facebook.com/adoptadoginsrilanka Thank you for your helpful answers. Ads |

your question is clear but the answer is not one you will like
first, you have to own your own paid website to host the tabbed pages on then you will need to create a facebook app that connects the pages you host on your own paid site with the page on facebook you will also be required to pay for an SSL certificate on your hosting website this is not a simple process and will require that you are good with webpage development Ads |

Facebook has added tabs that you can customize. You can see these as little boxes under your profile picture and straight under the Like button.
Facebook however has not provided an easy way for pages to use them. If you cannot program them yourself - most pages can't - there are free apps on Facebook you can use, such as Woobox. Search for the app and install it, create a custom picture of the correct size (111x74) to display on the tab and make the tab according to instructions. When a person clicks the finished tab, your content can be displayed on a canvas within Facebook or you can redirect the tab to a website, app, etc. There is information on the internet how you can set it up, for example this video on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0IDURU5RrQ |
