am i blocked? i thought you can't see that person in a friends list if you have been blocked, my friend can see the profile with a picture and add friend when he searches the person, i can't see add friend or send a message, i have never been friends with this person but i work with them, maybe they didn't want me to add them?

Yes they have blocked you. Some people are weird and don't want certain people contacting them, have you ever made them mad? Think of a reason why they would do it in the first place.
