Why can't i search in Twitter anymore?

Basically i don't have, and never have had a Twitter account but I really like to use search function to see what people are saying about certain topics. I used to just go into Twitter and it would show me what was trending and would allow me to search for whatever i wanted to read about. However, literally in the last 3-4 days it wont let me do this anymore and asks me to either log in or sign up to an account.

Does anyone know if their settings have recently changed regarding non-members being able to search? Also, if not, does anyone have a link that will still enable me to search on there?
