How do you block a person but not actually block them in facebook?

I have a person that has to be my friend that could see my wall and stuff but not make them see what I am doing and not make them see in their News Feed and the activity bar thing on the right? so Friends but nothing shows up about me

There's no way to block but not block someone on Facebook. You either block them or don't block.

i think if you click the block button then go to privacy and unblock you will have in fact, blocked them but also not blocked them
