I have disabled my facebook but its still active help!?

I need it deactivating but every time I deactivate it its still active and my friends can still see everything as usual!

It takes 14 days to delete after you first deactivate it. If you keep signing in before the 14 days, everything will restore and look the same.

Facebook states

When you deactivate your account you can log in any time and it will reactivate but if you delete it permanently It takes 14 days. If you keep signing in before the 14 days, everything will be restored.
