HELP, my Facebook PAGE isn't working properly?

I made a Facebook Page, seperate from my own personal Facebook profile.

The problem is I can't like any other pages, and I can't even get anybody to like my page because it says 'community pages can't get insights'

How do I get my page to be 'like-able' from other people? I feel as if i did something wrong in the sign-up process.

So just in case you don't understand, I made a facebook page in order to get people to like it(kinda like how some people have facebook pages dedicated to posting memes and what not) but I can't get anybody to like my page and i can't search for other pages.

Sorry if this sounds confusing.

*PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS AND HAVE A NORMAL FACEBOOK PAGE.
