Can't remove email addresses from Facebook login page, please help...?
More than one person in my family uses facebook and sometimes family friends log on when they're staying with us to check their pages. This morning I realized that when I tried to use the arrow down and click the delete button, the email addresses were highlighted in grey and I couldn't remove them. The computer is only about a month old. It's an HP Envy, the system is Windows 8, and the browser I'm experiencing this issue on is Google Chrome. After I found where to uninstall, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome. Can anyone help explain what caused this and how to correct it? I had just updated Google Chrome prior to it occurring but I'm guessing that's not the cause as Google Chrome was uninstalled and reinstalled. This is just an annoyance because now I have several email addresses that start with the same letter of my facebook login email and instead of deleting the email addresses like I usually would, I have to either type more of the letters of mine out or scroll. Oh, I also have Webroot. I'm not sure what is to blame so trying to give as much info as I can. Thank you.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome. I just tried clearing the cache too. That removed the email addresses, but as a test I logged out of Facebook and started to type my email address in, and sure enough it's there showing up and it's highlighted in grey. So while I got rid of the other emails, I know they'll just end up staying as my family members use Chrome to login to Facebook and any future guests. I just don't understand why I used to be able to arrow down and press delete and remove emails and they wouldn't reappear, nor were they highlighted grey, and now I can't. The only things that I did was I clicked the 3 lines on the upper right corner to update Google Chrome, and I updated Flash player.
