Can I like a status/post from my own admin page?

I have my personal Facebook and I'm an admin for another page, when I post something through the admin how can I like that post with my personal page. It seems that everything I try doesn't work. I switch to my page and I still can't like the post. What can I do?

1. Visit your page.
2. Click the gear icon on the top-right of the page.
3. Under "Use Facebook as:", select your personal page.
4. That's all.
