is it possable to completely block facebook?
Sometimes in my spam folder I find emails that have been sent from facebook to my previous name via an old email address that should have been closed down & even though they're in my spam I still find them annoying. I've just put a block on the old email address but how can I be sure they can't annoy me again thus I want to completely block facebook

Delete your facebook account.
Delete all your spam/junk emails.

Depending on the OS version you use, you can block websites via the hosts file found in windows 7 and vista I think.

Go to Start, click on Computer, go to the local disk C:/ and locate this file:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Open the hosts file and type this:

127.0.0.1 facebook.com
127.0.0.1 http://www.facebook.com

Make sure the lines are in line with each other.

I don't think it is possible to actually delete the account. You can deactivate it but to delete suggests that if you wanted to go back on Facebook you would start over with a new account etc but you just deactivate your current account and all them information is still there so this may be why you are getting emails.
