On Instagram on people's bios they're not emojis they're like little drawings like an outline of a star or a cross and stuff like that

Those are just unicode symbols, type "&#x" plus the number for the code followed by a ";" to type them online.

They are emojis version 3, you just have to install it in your iphone or ipad then go to settings.. Just add emojis on your keyboard, by typing them in sending text or like what you've said you saw it on people's instagram you just have to click what 'globe' symbol thing on your keyboard..
