Have you ever accepted a facebook friend request to be polite?

this guy I know is my GF's uncle.....I met him once, when he refused to shake my hand and threatened me.....because im going out with his niece and I think he just wanted to laud it over me. anyhow, it was a family occasion....so I just let it go. then like a month ago when my son was born....he wanted to become my facebook friend....and I accepted although I cant stand him, I just knew that my gf's mum would fume if I didnt accept. sounds piss weak but thats what I did...now I sometimes think of unfriending him. anyhow, have u ever accepted facebook friends you dont really want to be friends with?
