Why have some people on facebook got a number next to their mobile icon on chat and others haven't?
I want to remove the mobile icon from my chat because I don't want people to see when I last checked my phone. I don't know how to do this but I have noticed that some people don't have a number next to their phone icon on chat. Why is this? How do I remove the phone icon altogether? Thanks in advance for answers
yeah- by number I mean the time

I noticed that too, and i hate seeing it too...But while you use mobile you will still see it, even if you stop them from seeing you on line. if they have a mobile it still shows up! you can't remove the phone icon only if you log off your phone messenger..
