have they blocked me or unblocked me on facebook?

we had a falling out the next day i went to send a message to say sorry but I couldn't find them so i logged on using my friends Facebook and there they were it stayed like this for about 4 months when one day i was searching for something else with a simalr name and they popped up on one account it says i can add them as a friend and my other it says i can just message them. Have they unblocked me and why do you think this would happen?

if they disappear from the search then they have blocked you if they reappear they have unblocked you. this might happen just because they wanted to be able to talk again

If you couldn't find them from searching, then they had blocked you and now you can find them through search they have unblocked you.Maybe they blocked you and changed their mind again.
