Group posts on Facebook aren't showing on my News Feed?

I've recently assigned several news orientated Facebook pages to display their updates on my News Feed; diluting the frivolity that I've attempted to hide by disabling status notifications.
However, their posts appear to be refusing to show on my News Feed despite been displayed on their own. I have set the 'updates' settings of these groups to display 'All Updates' but to no triumph and I am still receiving updates from only groups I 'liked' long ago.
Any tips to overcome this problem?
Thank you for the suggestion Michael. One social networking site is enough for me though.

Check your News Feed Settings Go to your Home Page To The Left Where it Says News Feed Click on the Pencil than Click On Edit Settings Check and Make Sure the Group is Not Blocked Other Than that Sometimes if you Dont Interact With a Group For a While There Posts Will Not Show up on the News Feed
