Poll: How many friends do you have on Facebook?

I currently have 324.

I'm always seeing how people have 700+ friends and they try to defend themselves by saying that they actually know them all well. That's a bunch of BS. There's a difference between "know" and "know know."

I currently have 254.

Most of them is family I rarely see, and some people who have multiple account. And my other account; It wasn't a prank one it was just for more games then anything, then I started to hate the games... Anyway some of them are old friends, and like four are people I talk to on occsial, and only one of those do I see in person, and that's rare. Other then family, I only see the few people, and even that list is thin, my facebook friends are too long for not seeing too many of them. XD

When I was a bit younger I went through this phase where I thought it was the shit to have 700+ friends on Facebook. I did not know (as in "know" I mean I had never physically met or seen) a large majority of them. I thought it was the "cool" thing to do at the time. I ended up socializing with some people I still have in my life today. Although, a lot I would never talk to. They would annoy me with their picture and status posting. It was just a stupid little thing. Instead of deleting all of them I created a new Facebook recently. Now I currently have 43 friends. Still adding them, plus I'm adding my family and friends from my high school on there. Not a bunch of people I don't even know. I think the only way you can say "Oh yeah, I know ALL my 750+ friends on Facebook" is if you're really damn popular. If not, the person saying that is just lying. No one I know is that into meeting people. Afterall, that's a whole lt of people. It's a waste of time in my opinion to go through accepting their requests to adding them to trying to socialize with them. Also, it's not really safe because you don't know exactly who you're talking to cause' it's the Internet.
