What do I do when someones pretending to be me on Facebook?
Someone I was very close to at one point in my life is pretending to be me. They have a ton of pictures of me from various sources (their phone, my actual Facebook, etc.) They're also exploiting personal pictures of me from when the individual and I were intimate (I know, allowing anyone to keep pictures like that is stupid. I've learned my lesson.) And pretending to be me openly with around 2,000 followers/facebook friends.
I'm not sure how to handle it. I found out about it once before and asked them to deactivate it (it was a huge deal, but I'm a forgiving person.) But now that I saw they reactivated it yet again I need some advice on what to do. I can't take this anymore.
I know I could report it, but that's not enough. This individual is sick in the head and there is no doubt in my mind that they would just make a new one.
I need some kind of action to be taken. Some kind of law against something like this. Because what they are doing is not right. My anxiety has skyrocketed.

Be them, and beat them at their own game.

EDIT: ========
Oh aye, you COULD report it, but my idea is more fun.

You can do what brokeneye said or report it to Facebook. They will probably ask you to prove it is you reporting it and you will need to provide identification. If that doesn't work you could make a fake death certificate and send it to Facebook requesting them to deactivate the account.

all you can do is report it to facebook and let them handle it

go to that profile and click on the little gear in the upper right, and then click on "report profile" and then answer a few simple questions
