If you like and unlike a status on Facebook does it still give a notification?

Yes they will still get a notification I had this once and someone liked my status then all of a sudden an hour later the like had disappeared but i got a notification through :/ . I'm not to sure what would happen if you deactivated you're account but they may still get a notification through then after you deactivated your account the like would have gone.

If the account is deactivated you wouldnt be able to see it anymore, it would say the page you requested was not found. It will say the same thing if someone unlikes your status and you click the notification

And if someones not your friend on facebook and they like your status, you will still be notified
