On ffacebook how do you know if you've been blocked or deleted?

So this guy blocked me on facebook before. Before, his name was in black and previous posts showed a question mark. I was looking at someone's post and his name appeared. Except it was in blue; when I clicked it though, nothing happened. So is this a privacy change or am I deleted?

try messaging- it will say not delivered if you are blocked

If you were blocked, you couldn't see ANYthing related to him or his profile. You guys would be non-existent to each other on Facebook. So you're not blocked.

If you were deleted as a friend, then if you click into his profile, it would give you the option to "Add as friend". He may have just deactivated his account for a while.
