My friend, Britney Spears (No, not the singer) Wants to sign up for Facebook. She entered her name (in front of me) and it said "We require everyone to use your real name on Facebook." She doesn't have a nickname, sooo...??? What do we doooo???

Try adding a middle initial or middle name. Facebook obviously thinks you are trying to use the name of that other person as a Pseudonym.

If this is truly your friend's real name, that's quite unfortunate. Facebook is reading this as fake because of the no-talent singer.

She can get around it in a number of ways:

She can enter her middle name right after her first name (BritneyAnn Spears or even Britney A Spears)
She can change the spelling of Britney for Facebook (Brittney or even Brittany)
She can just use her first and middle initials as a first name (BA) or
She can shorten her name to "Brit" as a first name
