Difference on Facebook between "in a relationship" and "new relationship life event"?
This might be a stupid question but i see people post life events on facebook that they are in a relationship and im not sure if its really any different than just switching to "in a relationship". Just curious lol. Thanks!

the difference is that when you are no longer in the relationship, your status goes back to "single" and there is no longer a record of your past relationship(s)

whereas, with a life event, the record remains

however, the person you are in a relationship has no say in your life event post, so they can be faked
