a friend of mine is accusing me of creating a fake facebook account how do i prove this wrong?
so someone on facebook has been contacting my friends boyfriend and telling him things about her only apparently i would know. it wasn't me though but she has made up her mind that it is and i don't know how to clear my name here, is there any actual proof i can come up with to show her beyond a doubt that i didn't do this?
well now my friend is threatening to tell people things about me that could get me into big trouble. she said she'll do this if whoever is contacting her boyfriend contacts him again. i am actually freaking out at this point because i have no control over when this person on facebook decides to contact him again and i still cannot convince her that its not me!

I don't think you can. Even if you had your passport stamped to a remote destination somewhere without internet, during the time frame of the creation of that account, they might still say you paid someone else to do it.

Why should you feel you have to prove anything to them?

Tell her to file a police report and the investigation will find the real person who created the account. Say that you have nothing to hide and look forward to a police investigation to clear your name
And tell your friend she isn't your friend anymore as you could never be friends with a person who didn't trust you and would accuse you of doing something so horrible

Tell her to ask her boyfriend to report this person to Facebook.Stay away from her after this because a real friend wouldn't be threatening you.

If you are telling the truth, then ignore her.
