In FB, the blue highlighted is a link, ie. if you click on it, it will bring you somewhere else, and if it's a person/account name, it can also be a Tag to that person who then notified by FB that someone has mentioned that person.

It means the person made it a hyperlink so you can click it and go to those words!
example: Take that are so epic (not really sshhh) however take that may be in blue you can click it and go to their page!
Okay to do this u need to type the word in capitals. Then you may post it as a link, I tag my friend this way all the time in my posts to annoy her lol..
