First thing is first. HOW was the message delivered about the FBI locking down your computer? If it was a pop-up in a new browser window, I'M VERY SURE (100% sure) that it's fake.
Also another thing is that it's possibly a virus that makes a fake display of government. Whoever made that virus has committed a felony, just to let you know. It's illegal to act or display something as a government figure or organization without authorization. Best thing to do is contact Facebook support, scan your computer for viruses and/or bring it to a computer repair shop, and/or call the police or something. I'm pretty sure the FBI wouldn't lock down your computer without reason... Unless you've been looking up child pornography or exchanging government documents, but I highly doubt you're doing these... illegal things. So I assume it might be fake or just a virus. |

The FBI does not block computers. If the FBI wanted you, they would have come to your door and taken your computer and any other internet enabled device
You have a virus called Ransomware. The bleepingcomputer tech blog tells how to remove it http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-re...ransomware |
