Does it mean anything when a guy pokes you on facebook and should u poke them back?

stupid question i know haha but i dont think ive ever spoken to this guy, he used to go my school so ive seen him about but never spoke to him.
he just randomly poked me on facebook, does this mean anything? like weve never messaged eachtoher and he just randomly pokes me hahah
should i do it back? my first thought when this guy poked me was that his mate might of done it dunno why but i always think that if a guy messages me etc i just casually think its his mate messing around.so yeh should i do it back?X

ofcourse just poke back . Repeat until he stops to poke you or just ask him directly in fb why is he doin like that
