Why does my computor continue to play videos after I close the site?

Sometimes my computer freezes up and moves slowly. I have to go to the task manager to close out from the site. Sometime I attempt to shutdown from a video and the site/page disappears but the sound continues. I again have to shutdown via task manager. I have a virus check. Please advise.

No offense but you need to include as much info as possible. You didn't include any of your computer stats.

If you had I might be able to tell you - that you computer is not good enough to run several programs at one time. Especially graphics. Your computer - anyones computer - has a buffer when playing video so that it isn't choppy (sometimes it still is because of several different reasons) and this is why when you shut it down it still has sound playing.

I believe it is probably your computer - not a virus. But - again - I won't know until you tell me what your cpu is, what your RAM is, or what your GPU or graphics card is.
