How to get rid of false information on Facebook?

So I'm part of an Independent film company and we have a Facebook page but I discovered that for some reason some random person has added our company as a place where they have worked (which they haven't).

How do I find out if anyone else has done this and is there a way to prevent this in future?

I've already tried looking through the Facebook Help Centre but it was useless...

report this person to FB but before you do, contact them because they may have put it there accidentally (happened to me and I didn't catch it until a few days later)

I would report the Timeline of the person in question with the reason that it does not provide real information and should be removed. There seems to be no real procedure on the facebook-site itself, even though with a little searching I found an article that may be useful to you! Check the source section.
