How to talk to her on facebook?

Okay so I added this girl that I remebered from the middle school and I was in 6th grade and she was in 8th and now I'm a freshman and shes a junior, we both go to different schools and I want to talk to her cause I'm pretty sure that I like her and also we have never talked in middle school I saw her a couple of times before but not sure if she saw me so what I'm asking is how do I approach her on facebook since I don't want to sound like a stalker

Start liking her statuses and/or pictures, then, if you see her on Facebook, send her a private message. Nothing long or complicated. A simple "Hi! Remember me from middle school" will do. Take it from there.
