i am single but NOT looking for love on facebook, (or anywhere) so why am i still being propositioned on FB?
sometimes strangers try to start convos with me (there are times i accept random friend requests, because my interests have mostly lead me to make alot of new friends on there,) but there are times, i receive the typical annoying message from someone, and they end up sour, because im not attracted to them, too...
not only strangers however...there were a couple times that former high school friends/people ive dated in the past, have seeked me out on fb. and once we connect, its clear their intentions go beyond fb interaction only. i even put in my profile: "not looking for love at all...want to be friends only" , but doesnt always help...
this issue either leads them to unfriending me due to anger (to which im fine with, if ive never met them before, but if i have, temporarily saddens me that i lose past ppl from my life because of their immaturity.
and please dont think this is arrogance on my part...i dont necessarily consider myself the biggest catch (as all sorts of folks can find love, not just the mostly amazing people)
when are ppl going to realize fb is not a dating site? i only want to be on fb for keeping up with family and/or friendly socializing,

you have to realize you're single, and guys want to mate with you

you're not a guy so you wouldn't understand. guys don't talk to you just for fun then stop. we talk if we want something more if so.

"i only want to be on fb for keeping up with family and/or friendly socializing"
stop talking to guys your age then. stop accepting randoms
