How do i earase or change this?

I bought a used phone but the last owner left there gmail I need to delete there's
and put my gmail in but i don't know how to delete it. Some1 plz help this is rlly
hard to figure out for some1 like me as this is my first phone. Thx so much. O-o

go to settings an look for mail or something like that, dont know what type of phone it is so i cant really say for sure

If it is an android phone go to settings (hit all apps and go to settings)--->accounts (accounts and sync)--->click Google Account or Gmail -->Remove account.

Windows phone --> Settings --> Email+Accounts --> Tap and hold account --> Delete

iPhone --> Settings ---> mail contacts and calendars ---> click on the email address --> tap delete account button
