Have you been a victim of a malicious attack by a hacker?
Hackers can break into your email, Facebook, twitter, bank and other accounts and completely ruin your friendships with other people online or even steal your money; has this ever happened to you? How can you recover from an attack of a hacker?

Personally I have never been attacked by a hacker. In order to avoid an Attack you should change regularly your passwords from your accounts and be sure to use some software like Expat Shield when banking or buying online in order to keep yours computer ID (IP) secret.
You can always try to install a linux distro called Tails which is specialized in security issues and it is not vulnerable and can protect you from hackers malware and viruses effectively. ( Email me at manintardis@yahoo.gr in order to send you free of charge a copy of Tails). Also don't give away your codes to people you hardly trust.

Now to the recovering part...

Change your passwords again... Inform your familiars that you have been attacked and whatever action is made by your accounts are not caused by you. This is all you can do. Ohhh and start learning about security on the web by some security sites.

That's it
Hope I helped.

First of all, long story short, I'm a white hat hacker. Honestly, as a hacker, I don't need an antivirus or anything to help protect against hackers or viruses, I can take care of them on my own and its pretty easy. But that doesn't mean learning to understand hacking and become a hacker yourself is the best way to go, you can get viruses and malware just by looking for such information and knowledge, its just such a popular study. If you want good protection, get nod32, its a great antivirus, it lets you know if anyone is trying to connect to your computer, its so good it wont even let lan IPs through. So yeah, get nod32 and you should be fine for a long while, but here's a detailed answer in case you're interested.

A lot of people think hacking is simply logging into someones facebook account while they turn their back, others will see hacking as one who fetches IPs and somehow manages to tap into your accounts. So I want to get this straight, if you are being threatened, someone saying that they have your IP, all they can do is find your hosts location, they can easily find your country and sometimes the state as well, though a specific address cannot be found as your IP is NOT your computer. Though they can attempt a DDoS attack, which no hacker would think of doing unless you own a business or popular website. The only way you can be harmed by these things is if you download untrusted software. Those ads you might find on websites, some are just trying to gain popularity to be successful, others are fake software that may include spyware or a virus that could screw up your computer.

Again, avoid those ads you see in most websites, the stuff like "speed up your PC!", "Install ____ for a better experience!", yeah, stuff like that can be pretty dangerous. Don't be a hacker, after kids find out that hacking is more than just playing on someones account when they turn their back, they tend to look for hacking software on the internet. Since every kid wants to learn how to hack for real, looking for hacking software is popular, so the real hackers, instead of teaching them, they use their gullibility to the advantage, they plant their own malware inside a program, and disguise it as hacking software, making all the kids want to get it, of course, they end up stuck in the trap.

So yeah, just don't click or download everything you see.
But what if you are caught up in this stuff already, and you are wanting to get out of it...

Well, buying a new computer is your best bet, and don't re-install everything you had on your old computer, you could just be getting yourself a virus again, you want to carefully pick out whats safe and whats not. Get an antivirus, I used AVG for a while, then went without as I turned into a white hat and learned to deal with viruses and hackers without the aid of other software. After a bit, I couldn't be bothered, I used the antivirus nod32, it lets you know if anyone and any IP is trying to connect to your computer, of course it wont let them, and something useful for bandwidth users, it keeps track of exactly what process is using it all up. Also, wipe your hard drive, it may not be us thorough as getting a new computer, but it works well and saves you money.

I complained to FaceBook providing them with all the free hacking software available online. Waiting for their response. My hacker published the format of my password to public, how is that? I wont forgive my hacker. I shall be very careful with all my accounts.
