Relationship request on Facebook problem!?

I'm trying to send a relationship request to my girlfriend but it's saying she has a request already pending. She has no requests showing and I don't know what to try:/

Maybe the request is from someone else? Maybe a past relationship she never made official on facebook or maybe a girly friend who sent her a request as a joke like a lot of girls do on facebook? Try and sort it out with her in person where you both have facebook open. Make sure both of you are listed as single then tell her to request you for the relationship.
