A Facebook question.?

So, my friends find it annoying to see what I do on Facebook pages and stuff. I don't really like using the restricted list method, because its pretty obvious I've done it to them... So I also notice, when you click the liked button on the page, it gives a list of options, one is show on timeline, tick or no tick, so my question is, when you say no to show on timeline, would, lets say a post on that Page's wall, be shown on either my timeline or my friends newsfeed?

it still gets shown to your friends via the ticker

if it bothers your friends, then tell them to change THEIR settings... it's simple for them to do
