Facebook - can you do an inbox search for photos?
hi, i have a lot of photos from various contacts dating back years which have been sent as private messages... is there a quick way to retrieve them?

I'm afraid NO, it's not even appear in your FB data downloaded under Message.
What you can do is scroll down your message and download/see it there.
