Random girl adds me on Facebook and messages me?

First of all I don't add strangers to my Facebook, however this girl had a mutual friend from high school who is an under classmate. I am currently a college freshmen that will become a college sophomore this coming Fall. I'm going to an university out of state so might not remember some people back home. I though this girl knew me because she had a mutual friend from high school and a lot of her friends are mutual friends of a lot of my friends in high school, so I assumed she knew me and was from my high school. She only has 11 friends in Facebook, since her account was made today. Turns out she messages me later from accepting her request and says that she only added me because she liked my profile picture and asked me where I work and she had to go and to text her (writes down her number). I am not sure what to do, since what if it is a trap. I though of deleting her, but what if she really is friend of a friend, I feel like that would be mean. What do you think of the situation? What do you think I should I do?

Your far to young to be this paranoid. Talk to her, seems like she likes you. If not i would close your FB account. Your missing the whole point of a social network.

Sounds like a set up. Definitely sounds like a fake profile. Try asking your friends if they know her. If you have a gf it could be her setting you up. Ive done it to my bf to prove something to myself. Good luck.

Ask Her How She Knows you and Find Out Maybe you Will Figure Out How you Know Her If you Dont Know Her i Would Just Delete Her Off of Facebook
