play store will not work no updates some apps don't work?

my play store will not work I have been losing apps slowly over 4 days phone very sluggish and freezes I get messages to say I have updates but can not get them, can't buy anything called network they said to delete my google email and re log back in but will not let me delete can anyone give me any info on what to do

I just fix this exact problem just go to app manager go to all and click on download manager it should say enable click on that an try to open play store it should work ps you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom it should be in alphabetical order. Also do these steps too Settings--> Applications--> Manage--> "All" tab--> Google Play Store--> Clear Data
