Is there a way to hide from my friends my name in closed group on facebook?
I've already hidden the groups i've joined on my timeline so that no one will ever see the group where i'm in. When i used my mom's facebook account, i searched our group, i saw my name on member's list. I know there's a way i just don't know how. Our group has 36 members but when i counted the people, i only saw 32 members.
i also tried searching groups i'm not a member but some of my friends. I counted the members but it's not equal to the number of members the group displays.

You Can Not Hide your Self From Group Lists On Facebook Anybody Who Can View the Group List Can See your Account in it

If your Seeing the Member Count is Not Matching Whats Displayed its Because Some People May Have There Accounts Deactivated

If someone has blocked you on Facebook, or you have blocked them, you won't see them as members of groups... or anywhere else.

If the number of people in a group is different from the actual number, it is because some of the member accounts are disabled:

If a group is "closed" you see the member names. If a group is "secret" you don't see members, and the group also becomes unsearchable. The only way you can hide being a member of a group is if the group privacy is changed to "secret" by an admin of the group.
